Welcome! My name is Fern [previously Kat] (they/she) and I am a hair stylist with nearly 8 years of experience behind the chair. I am incredibly passionate about my work, my two cats, and not being the one that has to cook dinner. I specialize in textured razor cuts, wash-and-wear styles, customized fringes, classic bobs, and I particularly enjoy a good shag or mullet. When it comes to color, I specialize in creating effortless, low maintenance blondes, rich and dimensional brunettes,“low impact” vivids, and unconventional, edgy color placement. Appointments with me are incredibly thorough and detailed, meaning you can sit back and relax while I fine-tune your hair to the absolute best of my ability. My styling chair is a safe space for all individuals and I will spend as much time with you as I can to ensure that the hair you leave with is hair that not only makes you feel good, but also matches your lifestyle needs. Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 2 days / 48 hours before the beginning of your appointment, or you may be charged a cancellation fee. Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, I miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on my waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Your appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance because I know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago. Since the services are reserved for you personally, a cancellation fee will apply. I will be asking for a credit card to have on file. A deposit of $100- $150 is charged to your card on file at booking for color service appointments. This goes towards the cost of your service. Less than 48 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount. “NO SHOWS” will be charged 75% of the reserved service amount. Appointments made within the 24-hour period and need to cancel, the client then must cancel within 4 hours of appointment time or will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount. Multiple services not cancelled 48 hours in advance will be charged 75% of the reserved service amount. The cancellation policy allows me the time to inform my standby guests of any availability, as well as keeping my schedule filled, thus better serving everyone. These policies are presented and provided in the best quality and tradition of excellent servicing for my established and future clientele. Thank you for viewing and supporting my policies criteria. CONFIRMATION TEXTS/ EMAILS As a courtesy, I will email/text you to confirm your service appointments prior to your appointment date. Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and the cancellation fee. For the future I have updated my cancellation policy to avoid any miscommunications in the future. Thank you! NO SHOW POLICY A client is considered a "no show" if they do not arrive to the scheduled appointment or if they are more than 15 minutes late. No-shows may be charged up to 75% of the scheduled service and may be restricted from booking any future appointments. LATE POLICY Please note that if you are over 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may have to reschedule your service. If we do not hear from you 15 or more minutes into your scheduled appointment time it is considered a “No-Show” and your card will be charged for up to 75% of the service scheduled. EMERGENCY SITUATIONS/ ILLNESS We understand life can get in the way and things do come up so please call or text us so we can try and accommodate any way we can. Also, if you are feeling under the weather, please contact us so we can reschedule for when you are healthy! COLOR POLICIES All hair is different. No one can ever 100% guarantee how your hair will react in any service. Please be upfront about all previous services as this will affect the way we go about your service today. Even with that information, hair can be stubborn, so please be patient. Please disclose to me at your consultation or appointment your full hair history including prior color services. This enables me to book you for the correct service and provide proper expectations of your hair. Thank you!
